David L. Zisow, MD, FACOG A native of Baltimore, Maryland Dr. Zisow is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1974 and after residency training at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore he served two years active duty in the United States Air Force as an obstetrician and gynecologic surgeon. For more than twenty nine years he has been in private practice in Harford County. Dr. Zisow was the Chief of the Section of Gynecology at Fallston General Hospital for many years. He was involved in the Department of OB/GYN at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center with a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic and uro-gynecologic surgical techniques. On November 1, 2005, Dr. Zisow was appointed "Gynecologist and Associate Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery" at Northwest Hospital Center (NWH) in Baltimore County. He is actively involved in developing a post graduate fellowship at NWH to train gynecologists in minimally invasive gynecologic techniques. He has been a presenter at the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists annual meetings in Las Vegas, Nevada and he is a consultant to the American Medical Systems Company. Ruth Powers, After more than twenty years of working together, "Dr. Ruth", our Office Manager emeritus, retired to the good life in North Carolina. She is missed by everyone!
Diane Schultz, Diane recently came on board as our Office Manager. Diane is very knowledgeable about insurance coverage and requirements. Feel free to ask her for help with your personal insurance questions. If she doesn't know the answer, she'll help you get one. If you need surgery, Diane will help make all the needed arrangements so your procedure is properly scheduled and you are fully prepared in advance. As much as possible, we want to take the stress out of what undoubtedly is a stressful situation for you.
Carolyn King, Carolyn really enjoys helping people and always tries to make you as comfortable as possible before, during and after your examination. She assists Dr. Zisow with "in office" procedures and Carolyn also performs urinary incontinence testing with skill and sensitivity to your needs.
Jennifer Walsh, Jennifer is our "old pro" receptionist, and she will do everything possible to make your visit to our office a pleasant experience. If there's anything you need, just ask Jennifer and she'll try to help you.
